A registration fee of $5 should be paid and it is non-refundable. Classes are scheduled twice a week on Mondays and Tuesdays, in the mornings and afternoons, for 1 hour.
Other terms and conditions of booking lessons include:
Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
Students must notify us of any absenteeism.
No refunds will be given if the student has already started classes.
If a student is absent more than twice without a probable cause, their lessons may be canceled.
HaraHuru Online Chinese Language Program Policies and Terms
1. Enrollment and Acceptance
Enrollment is confirmed only after completion of registration and receipt of all applicable fees. HaraHuru reserves the right to accept, decline, suspend, or terminate enrollment at its discretion where necessary to maintain educational standards, student welfare, classroom effectiveness, or operational requirements.
2. Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of USD $5 is required for all new student enrollments. The registration fee covers administrative processing, student onboarding, record creation, placement assessment where applicable, and access to program resources. The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal, cancellation, non-attendance, or termination of enrollment.
3. Tuition and Payment
All tuition fees must be paid in advance according to the selected course, package, or payment plan.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in suspension of classes, denial of access to learning materials, withholding of certificates, or termination of enrollment.
All fees are non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by HaraHuru.
4. Attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes punctually and prepared to participate actively.
Regular attendance is essential for language development and academic success. Repeated absences, chronic lateness, or failure to participate may negatively affect learning outcomes and may result in removal from the program without refund.
Attendance records are maintained for all enrolled students.
5. Student Absence
Students who are unable to attend a scheduled lesson must notify HaraHuru at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time.
Classes missed with proper notice may be rescheduled, subject to instructor availability.
Absences reported less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are considered late cancellations and are not eligible for replacement classes, refunds, or credits.
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without notice ("no-show") will result in the lesson being recorded as completed and forfeited.
6. Teacher Absence
If an instructor is unavailable due to illness, emergency, technical difficulties, or unforeseen circumstances, HaraHuru will make reasonable efforts to provide:
A substitute instructor;
A rescheduled lesson; or
A class credit.
Students will not be charged for lessons cancelled by HaraHuru.
7. Cancellation Policy
Student-Initiated Cancellations
More than 24 hours before class

Less than 24 hours before class
Lesson is forfeited and counted as attended.
No-show
Lesson is forfeited and counted as attended.
Program Withdrawal
Requests for withdrawal must be submitted in writing.
Completed lessons, registration fees, and administrative costs are non-refundable.
Any approved refund will be calculated after deducting completed lessons, registration fees, processing fees, and applicable administrative charges.
8. Rescheduling Policy
Students may request rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice.
Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability and scheduling capacity.
Rescheduled lessons must normally be completed within 30 days of the original lesson date unless otherwise approved.
Unused rescheduled lessons may expire after the validity period.
9. Changes to Classes and Schedules
HaraHuru reserves the right to modify class schedules, lesson times, instructors, teaching methods, learning platforms, course content, class sizes, lesson duration, or program structure where necessary for educational, operational, or administrative reasons.
Reasonable notice will be provided whenever practicable.
10. Late Arrival Policy
Students arriving late may join the lesson for the remaining scheduled class time.
Classes will end at the originally scheduled time regardless of student arrival time.
Additional teaching time is not guaranteed.
11. Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for ensuring access to:
Reliable internet connectivity;
A suitable computer, tablet, or mobile device;
Working audio and video equipment;
Required learning platforms and software.
Technical difficulties on the student's side do not automatically qualify for refunds, replacement lessons, or credits.
Accommodation may be provided at HaraHuru's discretion.
12. Learning Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials, lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, recordings, assessments, digital content, and educational resources remain the exclusive intellectual property of HaraHuru unless otherwise stated.
Materials are provided solely for personal educational use.
Unauthorized copying, recording, distribution, publication, resale, modification, or sharing of materials is strictly prohibited.
13. Classroom Conduct
Students are expected to maintain respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, bullying, disruption, or any inappropriate conduct may result in suspension or immediate termination of enrollment without refund.
14. Recording Policy
Students may not record lessons without prior written permission from HaraHuru.
Where lessons are recorded by HaraHuru for educational, quality assurance, safeguarding, or training purposes, such recordings remain the property of HaraHuru.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information is collected solely for educational, administrative, communication, and program management purposes.
HaraHuru will take reasonable measures to safeguard personal information and will not disclose information except where required by law or with appropriate consent.
16. Summer Chinese Language Immersion Opportunities in Beijing
Outstanding students may be considered for participation in special summer Chinese language and cultural immersion opportunities in Beijing, China.
Selection may be based on academic performance, attendance, participation, commitment to learning, conduct, program availability, and instructor recommendations.
Participation is not guaranteed and remains subject to eligibility requirements, visa approval, travel regulations, parental consent where applicable, partner institution requirements, and program capacity.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, participants are responsible for all travel, accommodation, visa, insurance, personal expenses, and associated costs.
HaraHuru reserves the right to modify, postpone, cancel, substitute, or discontinue any international program due to operational requirements, safety concerns, government regulations, public health matters, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
17. Refund Policy
All registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
Completed lessons, registration fees, administrative costs, payment processing fees, and educational services already provided are non-refundable.
Approved refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable period and may be subject to administrative deductions.
18. Force Majeure
HaraHuru shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to provide services resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, public health emergencies, labor disputes, platform failures, war, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
19. Limitation of Liability
HaraHuru does not guarantee specific academic, examination, employment, business, immigration, scholarship, or language proficiency outcomes.
All services are provided on a best-efforts educational basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HaraHuru's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the affected service.
20. Policy Amendments
HaraHuru reserves the right to amend, update, modify, or replace these policies at any time.
Updated policies become effective immediately upon publication on the official website or notification to students.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for classes, paying fees, attending lessons, accessing course materials, participating in programs, or using HaraHuru services, students and, where applicable, parents or guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and terms in full.
